It’s been awhile since I shot newborn images of a girl, so it was definitely a delight when i heard from this family!! Although baby boys tend to be more cooperative than baby girls, baby girls are surely more fun to “dress up!” Little Mia proved us wrong though. For the most part she cooperated with her model shot =) And after learning about her family, I guess it’s goes without question that she gets her modeling patience from her mom 
As today OFFICIALLY marks my FIRST DAY of my LAST YEAR in grad school at UCLA, I’d just like to say– you were definitely a good one! So sad to see you go!
Now please, can you take the summer heat with you already?!

I was really excited about shooting this newborn/family session! For 1), Jonee was my former classmate back in RCC’s RN program and 2) both her babies just so happen to have been former preeemie patients of mine! It’s always fun to see what old friends and classmates are now up too as well as how *NICU graduates* are currently doing. Jonee, thanks for having me over for this fun-filled afternoon! We definitely need a class reunion soon! Hope you enjoy my favorites from that day!

Just had a girls getaway trip to the Second City: Chicago! My travel itch is officially scratched and satisfied for the rest of 2009! Thanks to Rachel, Janine and Vina for an awesome fun-filled long weekend!! It was definitely nice to get away and take an adventure with the girls and all our estrogen!!It was also Rachel’s 26th Birthday!! Here are just a FEW pictures from our trip! We did a Food Tasting Tour, so you can pretty much assume correctly that we did alot of eating!

Meet Christian! My last *August babie* born a few days before I went on vacation for Cancun. I actually just shot this session earlier today and since I’m leaving for Chicago tomorrow, thought I’d edit some favorites real quick! Mom was “up for anything” and apparently, so was Christian. What an AWESOME sleeper!!!
