When Annette contacted me last month for a photo session of her and her husband, i was more than delighted to do so! Although I specialize in newborns, it was definitely a nice break to have the ability to converse with your clients! Annette and Abhishek were high school sweethearts and have been married for over 7 years!! I was in disbelief when she shared this with me, because based on their interactions with one another, I would’ve assumed that they were a fresh young couple just head-over-heels-madly-in-love. But I guess, that’s how being in love is suppose to be. All the time.
Welcome to the world new nephew! Weighing in at 7 pounds and 3 ounces. Be on the look out for his upcoming newborn session For now, here’s a few teasers from his first 2 days of life!
I’ve been neglecting this blog. And I blame it all on grad school! Initially when I started this blog I wanted to get back to writing more about my daily adventures, as well as blog about the fabulous people and beautiful babies that I’ve been photographing. But then I realized, with nothing but grad school and work all over my plate, I’m really not at all that interesting! I’d like to say that I’m working on it, and putting effort into really enjoying life and reaping the benefits of being able to attend the prestigious UCLA campus. I am after all, a BRUIN! but really, let’s be honest.. instead of working on it, I’m merely counting the days until I graduate from UCLA. Wide-eyed and eager young 1st year grad students need to steer clear of me! Because I’ve concluded, either I’m jaded.. or I simply have a really bad case of senioritis…. June 12 can’t come any sooner…
This past weekend, I threw my sister a baby shower for her second baby! Since the shower was co-ed the theme was babies and football! Also since I hosted it, I didn’t get the chance to snap as many pictures as I liked.. (my brother-in-law definitely has more of the details and set up !!) that was of course.. until my responsibilities as a host were over!
I could have never constructed this diaper cake without the help of my dear friend Jalyn! Oh and the #22… that’s Kharlo’s due date!
This next series was fun with my nieces Khayla and Jordyn. Wish life could be this simple again!

Apparently something was really funny…
so funny they couldn’t contain their laughter!
And of course.. you should always sleep with a belly full of laughs!

Meet Harrison (aka Harri)! This little guy decided to come a little bit earlier than his due date so he barely weighed in at lil’ over 5 pounds! Being a NICU nurse, I’m use to babies this size and smaller, so it was nice to hear that mama and baby were able to go home together from the hospital! I also love photographing babies this small! Another perk is that his mom loves UCLA! So with that being said, Harri is definitely in a good place! Here are a few of my faves!
