For Mimi and Ian, “Baby K” was a surprise. No, no.. not that kind of surprise. But the surprise of not knowing the baby’s gender! It was surely a long wait for his parents, but Mom & Dad both knew that no matter what, he or she would surely be loved. I actually had the pleasure of working with Mimi who also happens to be a NICU nurse herself. Time sure does fly cause it only seems like months (well not really, a few years is more like it) ago we were both planning our weddings and looking for a place to settle down. Now we’re on to the baby factory. Hehe
Anyways, without further ado, here is he… “Baby K” at Day 5 of life
While Mimi was recovering in the hospital, Aunt Kerri and Keva (also NICU RNs! Holla!) were busy decorating his new room!!
This boy has got the most pouty lips!
